New Voluntary Program for Seed Companies
The California Seed Association (CSA) has developed a voluntary Phytosanitary Quality Assurance Program for 2021 re: Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV). The purpose of the program is to take pro-active voluntary steps to assure that tomato and pepper seed lots presented to transplant nurseries for services during the term listed have been appropriately sampled, tested and has shown to be negative for ToBRFV.
The new CSA voluntary program Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) language and agreement for 2021 is available here
The seed companies that agree and sign the Phytosanitary Quality Assurance document will be listed below.
If your company would like to participate, please sign the SOP agreement and email back to the CSA office at firstname.lastname@example.org and your company will be listed as a voluntary participant.
